Responsibilities: Staffing and training field personnel involved in construction, renovation, service contracts and maintenance to ensure J.E. Richards’ work force is well trained, responsive and effective with regard to meeting customers’ expectations and internal company goals are being pursued.
Experience: Chad joined the Local 26 IBEW in 1987. After completing both the “R” and “A” apprenticeships, he was certified as a welder electrician, and began working in the field of Labor Management Risk and Safety since 1997. Since 2002 he has contributed his expertise to JE Richards as a Labor Manager, and is committed to developing a a vibrant Safety and Risk Culture at J.E. Richards.
Pride: When asked about pride, Chad said, “I take great pride in our ability to complete projects no matter how big or small. I’m also very proud of all of our WBC Craftsmanship awards including our first Star Award in 2014.” Chad was chosen to give the acceptance speech after J.E. Richards was elected sub-contractor of the year in 2012. The company’s Safety and Risk programs continue to be a source of pride for Chad – seeing the gains the company has made and the continued development and participation by its employees in these programs.

Free time: Chad loves spending time with his wife, Wath, and raising his children Chace and Adalind.
