Responsibilities: Assignment of new projects to his coordination team, overseeing projects throughout their duration, and assuring project efficiency. Ron has made measurable contributions to several of J.E. Richards’ most challenging projects, some of which have won awards for craftsmanship and design such as: Medimmune Area 5, The Glenstone Project, The Aerospace Corporation, The Fillmore, and The Sibley Memorial Hospital Cancer Center.
Experience: Prior to joining J.E. Richards’ team in 2009, Ron began his electrical training in 1981 when he joined the Local 26 Electrical Apprenticeship Program soon after graduating high school. After graduating from the program in 1985, Ron began taking classes at local community colleges to further his education. He earned certifications in both the Master Electrical Code, and Master Electrical Calculations. From 1985 to 2000, Ron worked in the field as a foreman, and was promoted to management.
Pride: Ron knows what’s critical to his customer’s success. He expressed it by saying, “Our team has tremendous talent and professionalism and brings projects to completion without issue, often under budget, and within the project schedule. That’s what our customers can rely on us for without exception.”
Free time: Ron loves spending time with his children and grandchildren, going biking, and traveling with his wife. As an avid sports fan, and season ticket holder, he enjoys going to Washington Nationals baseball games, and watching his beloved Washington Capitals.
