J.E. Richards, Inc. a Phalcon company, performed electrical installation services for a complete tenant fit out for the Federal Housing Finance Agency. This 300,000 square foot space was built in 6 months.
There were 50 different types of light fixtures which were value engineered and adjusted multiple times which of course affected the shipping dates but not the completion schedule. The light fixtures were a variety of LED, Fluorescent, and Cold Cathode. The project featured high end finishes including an impressive decorative stairwell. The arrangement is very unique and every trim has its own specific orientation in the pattern.
A total of 200,000 feet of MC cable was pulled to connect the lighting systems and specific coordination was necessary because of space restrictions both above the ceiling with structural, mechanical, and drywall, as well as with the finishes which were mill work, metal, and paint. Some of the lighting systems work in relation with the Audio Visual System in the training areas and the more luxurious offices.
