Harlan Electric completed renovation of various portions of the arena including a new entrance and pub. The Bridgestone arena is home to the NHL Nashville Predators hockey team and is used as a concert venue throughout the year.
Previously known as Sommet Center, Bridgestone Arena is a 550,000 sq.ft. multi-use basketball, hockey, entertainment facility in Nashville, Tennessee. After bid award the owner initiated an extensive value engineering process to reduce the overall project cost.
Harlan participated in a prolonged process that resulted in substantial savings to the owner. The project experienced severe delays due to steel fabrication and erection problems. Harlan’s window of opportunity for performing its work was severely compressed. In spite of difficulties created by the delays and impacts, Harlan was commended for completing the work in time for the scheduled opening.
Harlan Electric completed a retrofit of 5100 fixtures in all areas of Bridgestone Arena, excluding sports lighting. Areas included all levels of the garage, Events, Concourse, Suites levels, Catwalks, office, conference rooms lighting for advertisement signs, the Patron club, concessions, locker rooms and dressing rooms.
