Austin Peay State University (APSU), located in Clarksville, Tennessee is the state's fastest growing university. Harlan Electric worked on Phase 2 through Phase 4 of the campus medium voltage underground distribution.
Each of these projects involved repair, rerouting and replacement of significant underground electrical utilities feeding strategic portions of the University campus. The projects were performed in compressed, fast-track time frames in order to provide the least disruption to campus operations and activities. Student safety and comfort was considered a high priority and drove the scheduling of activities, especially shut-downs and cut-overs.
